THE MILD CLIMATE ISLAND.

Lanzarote is a tropical island located in the temperate zones of the Tropic of Cancer.

Lanzarote is protected by influential climatic effects a result of the clash between high Saharan temperatures and the current of the Gulf of Mexico.

Because of these factors, the climate of Lanzarote is very mild.

Canary Islands have an extraordinary climate, hence it is known as the “islands of
eternal spring”.

Due to the absence of mountain ranges and the proximity of the African continent
(one hundred kilometers), the climate of Lanzarote is very dry and wet.

average temperature is 22 °C and extreme temperatures do not exist.

live with this land with such respect that have come to merge with it, they have
achieved a so called symbiosis.

Lanzarote prides among all of a flora with 16 island endemics (which only exist on this
island), to which are added 71 endemic species of canaries (thirty of them, exclusive of
the Eastern islands), apart from 19 Macaronesian endemics.

The vertebrate fauna of Lanzarote, as in the rest of the Canaries, is dominated by the
