Divemaster
WHAT IS THE DIVEMASTER COURSE?
Are you looking forward to take the first step in working in the world of scuba diving? Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the Divemaster programme which includes SSI Dive Guide and SSI Science of Diving specialties.
The Dive Guide gives you the skills and experience required to safely lead groups of certified divers, and is the first step towards an exciting career as an SSI Professional. Professional Dive Guides can work for SSI Training Centers, guiding dives in a variety of environments and conditions.
The Science of Diving completes your diving knowledge and provides an in-depth and detailed study of physics, physiology, decompression theory, the aquatic environment and diving equipment.
Working closely with your Instructor, the Divemaster programme will expand your dive knowledge and you will develop your skills to the professional level. The Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, your confidence and most importantly brings you the Pro side of scuba diving.
