The surroundings of El Muellito and the two breakwaters of Playa Chica create a magical place to enjoy diving both during the day and at night. It’s the perfect spot to observe how the marine life changes after sunset. <\/p>\n

This shallow dive is ideal for snorkeling, introductory dives, or beginner practices<\/strong>; even experienced divers enjoy it after excursions to the deeper walls<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Whether from shore or by boat, this area offers more than 10 different routes<\/strong> for all levels. For those who want to snorkel, experience a try dive (introductory dive), or even enjoy a night dive, this place is ideal due to the abundant marine life concentrated at Playa Chica and near the shore up to El Muellito<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

In the sunlight, schools of mullet, salema, seabream, rainbow wrasse, striped seabream, colorful emerald wrasse, and snipefish almost manage to hypnotize us<\/strong>. A close look at the rocks will reveal vibrant sea slugs like the Hypselodoris picta species or the harlequin crab. <\/p>\n

At night, the sand hosts a fauna that is entirely different from what appears during the day. The nocturnal sandy bottom transforms into a true garden, filled with anemones and all kinds of animals such as clownfish, octopuses, and curiosities like fabians, Mediterranean congers, and comb jellies<\/strong>. As the sun sets, most fish go to sleep, making way for the invertebrates.
