The Cathedral<\/h1>

This is one of the most popular dives in Lanzarote, and perhaps it is because, in the cave known as the Cathedral, lives the most famous animal on the island, the large grouper that local divers call F\u00e9lix.<\/p>\n

The dive is comfortable and very complete<\/strong>; we have vertical walls<\/strong> to search for hidden life, immense sandbanks to observe rays and angel sharks<\/strong>, caves with all kinds of fauna, and even a small wreck if we are interested in getting closer to it.<\/p>\n

The route to reach the cave crosses a sandy area that offers the opportunity to be surprised by the amount of life that can inhabit what, at first glance, appears to be a desert. We can observe garden eels, spider fish, lizard fish, blennies, sand crabs, angel sharks, and schools of fish such as mullet, striped seabream, and salema.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Upon reaching the reef, it is very likely that a curious grouper will be waiting for us and accompany us for part of the journey. Before the cave, we can find a small branch of black coral<\/strong> that will give us an idea of what the large forests might be like at greater depths. <\/p>\n

The return takes place in front of Playa Chica<\/strong>, over a shallow bottom that will entertain us during the safety stop.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
