What is the SSI Crossover Course?
The intent of the SSI Dive Professional Crossover program is to provide an orientation to SSI philosophies and procedures to dive professionals from other recognized scuba training agencies. It provides the knowledge and skills needed to conduct SSI programs equivalent to their existing qualifications in a safe and enjoyable manner. Upon completion you will be certified as an SSI Dive Professional commensurate with your previous certification and experience.

In Pura Vida we offer you the SSI Crossover as a 4-day course, where we will present the SSI´s philosophy, SSI´s Total Teaching System, SSI´s Flexibility rule and we will carry out a confined water session where we will make sure you are happy with the performance of all recreational diving skills. The course includes SSI Materials and Fees.

Course requirements
To participate in a SSI Crossover course you must hold an equivalent rating from a recognized agency for the program being crossed over. You must meet the minimum certification requirements for the program being crossed over.
Age & Experience
+18 years old
Dive certification
You need to be a certified dive professional with another agency. Your crossover will be at the same certification level.
Medical certificate
Be in Shape! Also we will require you to provide us with valid medical certificate for this course. Remember you will need to ensure 24 hours have passed after your last dive and before your flight.
