This program provides the skills and concepts needed to dive safely and comfortably at night or in low visibility conditions. Some of the ocean's most incredible creatures only come out at night, so your diving doesn't have to end when the sun goes down. You will learn how to enter and exit the water, use specialized equipment, and how to communicate and dive with a buddy in nighttime or low visibility conditions. You will receive the SSI Night and Limited Visibility Specialty certification upon completing this program.

You will use the total diving equipment that you have already used in previous courses, such as the Open Water Diver. In addition, you will use specific items such as flashlights and a compass.
We will conduct night and/or limited visibility dives at Playa Flamingo. The conditions allow for comfortable and safe night diving year-round. Additionally, due to the abundance of rocky formations, it is home to a vast amount of nighttime marine life.
If you already have your Open Water Diver certification, have dived in the last year, and your medical condition has not changed since your Open Water Diver certification (you have no medical issues that are incompatible with diving), we can accommodate you. Ideally, you should book your course at least 1 week in advance to be able to read the course manual. *It is necessary to wait a minimum of 24 hours after completing your dives before traveling off the island. **It is advisable to have at least 15 dives to make the most of the course.
