You will use the complete diving equipment system that you are already familiar with, as well as specific elements for conducting searches for lost divers, such as a compass and slates. You will also use surface marker buoys and, during the first aid course, personal protective equipment. Additionally, we will use oxygen administration bottles and a mannequin to practice CPR.
We will conduct the dives in the Playa Flamingo area, an ideal place for the different scenarios you will face during your stress and rescue course.
If you already have your Open Water Diver certification, have dived in the last year, and your medical condition has not changed since your Open Water Diver certification (you have no medical issues that are incompatible with diving), we can accommodate you. Ideally, you should book your course at least 1 week in advance to be able to read the course manual. *It is necessary to wait a minimum of 24 hours after completing your dives before traveling off the island. **It is recommended to have a minimum of 20 dives to make the most of the course.
